Description
Excessively Rare Denison, Texas Ace - One of Two Known
Denison, TX - $1 Original Fr. 382a The First National Bank Ch. #
2099 PMG Fine 12.This is one of just two notes known from this bank which liquidated in 1894 after issuing First Charters along with a handful of Brown Backs. Any Texas Ace is a truly rare item, with the total population from all banks combined standing at a mere thirteen pieces according to the current National Currency Foundation census. Last on the market in the sale of The J.L. Irish Collection in 1997, this well circulated, but intact example maintains decent color and quite bold pen signatures.
