Important information concerning Sales Tax and Resale Certificates

Heritage is required to collect sales tax in many states.

Here is a list of states where Heritage Auctions currently collects sales tax (sorted by category) or is scheduled to collect sales tax in the near future.

Heritage is not required to collect sales tax if you are buying for resale.

1. If you are buying for resale, you can provide Heritage with your sales tax resale certificate.
2. If you do not have a resale certificate, contact your respective state agency to see if you qualify.
