Venezuela Banco Venezolano de Credito 20 Bolivares ND (1931-39) Pick S247cts Color Trial Specimen and 100 Bolivares ND (1931-39) Pick S248cts Color Trial Specimen
While the majority of banknotes for Venezuela were printed by the American Bank Note Company, some such as these were printed elsewhere. These examples prepared by Waterlow and Sons in England mimicked the ABNC designs. Both examples are Color Trial Specimens, using colors that were eventually not adopted for circulation. The 20 Bolivares note has 3 POCs and is PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ, and the 100 Bolivares has 4 POCs and is PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
