Currency Extremely Fine 45.This large denomination was issued during the Cuban War and had massive purchasing power. Most noticeably this example boasts a remarkable vignette of a resting lion next to a bust of King Carlos III. This variety very rarely comes across the auction block. Remarkably, this piece has no comments from the third party graders, which is atypical and increases the desirability considerably.
