Iconic $50 Featuring Two Digit Serial Number
Serial Number 13 Bahamas Bahamas Government 50 Dollars 1965
Pick 24a PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.When the Bahamas Government switched from Sterling notes to decimal notes, the highest denomination of the previous series was roughly equal to $15 in new notes. The $20, $50, and $100 of the new series were all higher denominations than the public was accustomed, therefore, few were saved and made them rarely seen and quite desirable today. This incredible $50 is from the first pack of issued notes and is seen with serial number 000013. Completely original and Uncirculated paper complete the description. Very rare and a special Queen Elizabeth II type note.
