Russia State Assignats 10 Rubles 1819 Pick A18 PMG Very Fine 25.
An interesting, gigantic note issued as part of the 1818-1843 series. This was the second of six denominations issued to the public, all of which are scarce today. This example is seen with the second date of the series: 1819. Much better than typical paper quality, embossing, and ink strength are all seen through the third party holder. In fact, this example is tied for the finest grade in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging of only 15 notes present in the census. Minor stains are mentioned for accuracy on this otherwise very pleasant large sized note.
