Palestine notes of the British era are notoriously challenging to obtain in the best of collector grades. Most extant examples are rather tattered and display some sort of netting factors that diminish the visual appeal. This incredible 10 Pounds is anything but ordinary, however. Only the briefest trace of circulation is present atop original paper and bold colors. The eye appeal of this offering is virtually without compare. Additionally, 1929 is a scarcer date of the series, which adds desirability to this offering. At the time of writing, PMG has graded 57 examples of this date, with only three grading 55 EPQ with one finer. Very rare in this elite grade and a stunning note when seen at this level of preservation.
