Netherlands State Note 10 Gulden 15.1.1902 Pick 3A PL30b.1 AV24A.2 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
A fantastic State-issued coin note from the turn of the twentieth century, this type features a small vignette of young Queen Wilhelmina at right and an allegorical representation of the Netherlands with a lion resting at her feet at left. This is the second finest graded example in the PMG Population Report at the time of writing and has been awarded the elusive EPQ status which is unusual for these types. This lot is part of a consecutive pair offered in this auction with the neighboring lot. An impressive example in any good collector grade and extremely rare in Uncirculated grade, especially offered as a consecutive pair. An opportunity not to be missed in this grade.
