Netherlands New Guinea Nieuw-Guinea 10 Gulden 2.1.1950 Pick 7a PMG Very Fine 30.One of the classic colonial rarities from Southeast Asia. Netherlands New Guinea remained a Dutch possession after Indonesian independence, and two specific banknote series were issued in 1950 and 1954. Surviving examples of the 10 Gulden and higher are rarely seen in the marketplace today and they stir collector excitement when they become available. This example is moderately circulated with minor toning mentioned for accuracy. Widely collected and quite rare.
