Rarely Seen 300 Gulden of 1917
Netherlands Netherlands Bank 300 Gulden 3.9.1917 Pick 26
PL112h PMG Very Fine 25.The 300 Gulden banknote is a very challenging denomination to acquire, as print totals were small compared to other notes of this series. A mere eight examples are graded in the PMG Population Report for all dates from 1909 to 1921. This example features a 1917 date and the signature panel of Delprat and Vissering. Circulated with some stains and lightened rust. This is only the second example we have offered that has not been cancelled. All printed details remain bright and clear. Rare in any grade and a very popular denomination due to it being unusual and of high contemporary value.
