Japan Bank of Japan 5 Yen 1899 Pick 31a PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ;
5 Yen ND (1910) Pick 34 PMG Very Fine 25;
10 Yen 1913 Pick 32b PMG Very Fine 25.
A trio of Gold Convertible Notes issued by the Bank of Japan. The first year of issue, Meiji 32 (1899) is seen on the 5 Yen note and the last year of issue, Taisho 2 (1913) is seen on the 10 Yen note, which has a small margin split to mention. A wonderful and appealing collection of earlier Japanese notes.
