Description

India Reserve Bank of India, Calcutta 1000 Rupees ND (1937) Pick 21b Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 4.8.1B PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
Second highest denomination of the Reserve Bank series. The 10,000 Rupees is exceedingly rare, which makes this the highest denomination one can reasonably hope to obtain. This handsome Calcutta example presents very well, with no bank stamps or other hindrances. A famously pretty King George VI type note that is especially popular in good collector grade.

PMG Choice Very Fine 35。
