McWatters King George V Booklet
India Government 1 Rupee 1917 McWatters Pick 1e Booklet of 24Quite possibly the only thing that can make an Uncirculated McWatters 1 Rupee note more rare is an entire book of them. Though the last note, serial number 922674, is missing and the back cover has fallen off, all twenty-four left are in an absolutely stunning state of preservation, with heavy embossing of the serial numbers. Some signs of storage are seen, particularly in the form of softer edges, but perforations are strong and paper crisp. Six notes show light smearing in the watermark area but do not detract at all from this trophy set of Crisp Uncirculated notes. Though each note has a catalog value of $1,100, a lower estimate will be used for the benefit of collectors.
