Hong Kong Chartered Bank 500 Dollars ND (1961-1977) Pick 72s KNB43S Specimen PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ.
The first variety of this type issued by "The Chartered Bank" is seen in this lot, with the first date and signature variety for the type. Most technically, this note could have been attributed as Pick 72as for the sake of accuracy. Interestingly, there is a suffix "A" at the end of the serial numbers, which is not present on issued banknotes. Overprinted in red on each side. Rare in this elite grade and a desirable Specimen.
