East Africa East African Currency Board 100 Shillings = 5 Pounds ND (1938-51) Pick 31p1 Front Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.An impressive composition of contrasting inks and artistic guilloche designs contribute to the appeal of this Front Proof. While Specimen for the King George VI series are seen occasionally, Uniface Proofs are much scarcer. Six small hole punched cancellations are mentioned for accuracy, along with a bit of rust from a paper clip seen on the back side. Typical printer notations are seen as well.
