Denmark Encased Postage Stamps 2 Ore ND (1940) Schwan-Boling 172 Three Examples.Danish Encased Postage Stamps are discussed on pages 78-80 of World War II Remembered: History In Your Hands-, A Numismatic Study by C. Frederick Schwan and Joseph E. Boling. These were local emergency issues that involved a postage stamp and then next adding a card backing with a printed advertisement. This was then wrapped in cellophane. Adds on the back of these 2 Ore stamps are for Berlingske Tidende, Erhvervs Raadet, and Th. Springborg. Choice AU or better. (Total: 3 items)
