Curacao Curacaosche Bank 2 1/2 Gulden 1892 Pick A54 PMG Very Fine 20.
The entire series of 1892 dated banknotes are valued merely as "Rare" in the Standard Catalog. This is the first and only example graded in the PMG Population Report. A mere 2,000 notes notes were printed for this denomination, and this extant example is nothing short of impressive in all respects. The uniface back is hand-notated, as was most likely the custom. One piece in an unrivaled Curacao collection offered in today's sale.
