Description
High Denomination Rarity of 1958
Curacao Curacaosche Bank 100 Gulden 1958 Pick 49 PLNA15.4b
PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.Issued banknotes from Curacao are popular with collectors worldwide due to their rarity and pretty designs. This 100 Gulden was the third highest denomination of the series and few exist to the collected today. Printer records indicate that only 50,000 notes were printed and issued bearing this 1958 date. Mild circulation and original paper are easily seen through the third party holder. At the time of cataloging, this is one of only two examples graded in the PMG Population Report. A very rare Caribbean and Dutch Colonial banknote.
