Congo Democratic Republic Conseil Monetaire de la Republique du Congo 5000 Francs ND (1963) Pick 3cts Color Trial Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A scarcer Specimen variety from the newly independent Democratic Republic of Congo (then still known as the Republic of Congo). Brilliant inks are seen throughout this high denomination, which was eventually issued with olive green intaglio features and darker underprints. Lovely river vignettes on both sides provide additional eye appeal. Red Specimen overprints and two POCs located in the signature area are present.
