China People's Bank of China 500 Yuan 1949 Pick 842a S/M#C282-56 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A pretty denomination in this popular series. At the time of cataloging, PMG has graded over 970 examples of this banknote, but only 40 grade 65 EPQ and only 12 grade higher. Rare in this elite grade and worthy of consideration, as this is currently among the finest known for the type.
