Description

China People's Bank of China 10 Yuan 1953 Pick 870 S/M#C283-14 PMG Very Fine 30.
A famous banknote from the post-World War II era and a type that appeals to a wide base of collectors worldwide. The paper quality of this example is excellent and crisp, with mild circulation and a smudge of foreign substance mentioned for accuracy. Issued for only approximately seven years, this highest denomination was not often saved for posterity, but rather was redeemed for smaller denominations and new notes beginning in 1964. Scarce now and as popular as ever.

NOTE: This lot was manufactured in China and was sourced from outside the United States for this auction after September 1, 2019. Any clients who wish to take delivery of this item in the United States should be aware of this added charge, and consult their tax adviser with any questions. The lots that fall under the tariff will be invoiced separately and will ship directly from our Hong Kong Office and carry a separate, additional shipping charge.

PMG Very Fine 30。
