China Central Bank of China 500,000 Yuan ND (1949) Pick UNL Front and Back Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 64; Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
Incredible and extremely rare Unissued type note from the Central Bank's extensive 1949 series of banknotes. Rapid inflation in China led to the creation of many high denomination notes, although not all of them were issued. This 500,000 Gold Yuan was never issued, and as such only Specimen and Proofs exist. Approval stamps and staple holes are mentioned on the front side Proof. A very scarce pair of notes that were never issued. (Total: 2 notes)
