Commemorative Issue PMG Extremely Fine 40.Only 160,000 of these special notes were printed, in both languages, with less than 2 percent outstanding as of 2013. Simply beautiful designs on both sides endear this note to collectors worldwide. Although this note celebrated the 25th anniversary of the accession of King George V and Queen Mary to their thrones, its circulation was cut short by the King's passing in early 1936, which ushered in the new series of banknotes in 1937. An excellent alternative to the solid five-figure price tag that would await a Choice Uncirculated example.
