British North Borneo Nissan Estate 50 Cents ND (1942) Pick UNL KNB1a PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.Smallest denomination of the Nissan Estate series. This interesting World War II series was printed for and issued by the Nissan Rubber Estate in Tawau. These locally produced notes were made to resemble the previous colonial series before the Japanese invasion. The technical grade of this very rare type is extraordinary. The special pedigree is noted on the back of the PMG holder. Part of an impressive collection of Nissan Estate notes offered in this auction.
