Brazil Republica Caixa de Estabilizacao 100 Mil Reis 18.12.1926 Estampa 16 Pick 109DIn an attempt to stabilize the currency, the Caixa de Estabilisacao was established, backing notes of the treasury in gold. These notes attempted to protect the Brazilian economy, which only lasted for a few years before the 1929 Stock Market Crash and subsequent depression led to a different economic policy being adopted. PCGS Apparent Fine 12, rust, damage and missing lower left corner.
