Belgian Congo Banque Centrale du Congo Belge 500 Francs 15.4.1953 Pick 28a PMG Very Fine 20.
A rarely seen type that was issued from 1953 to 1955 with few examples surviving to be collected today. This example features the second date of issue. The colors and paper are quite good for the type, as there is no fading and damage. Minor repairs are mentioned for accuracy. Seldom seen and one of only nine examples graded in the PMG Population Report at the time of writing.
