On the reverse, a striking depiction of a blue marlin symbolizes the vibrant marine life of the Bahamas. The face presents a finely detailed portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a product of the skilled craftsmanship of the British American Banknote Company. This issue had a brief tenure in circulation before it was replaced in 2000 by a new design from the renowned Thomas de la Rue, lending it a sense of historical importance and rarity among collectors.
