Description
Azores Banco de Portugal 10 Mil Reis Ouro 30.1.1905 Pick 11 PMG About Uncirculated 50.A handsome and rarely seen overprinted 10,000 Reis issued in the Azores. The 1905-10 series of banknotes overprinted for Azores is the only complete series of island-specific notes created, as mainland Portuguese notes were used before and after. Only brief circulation is seen on this clean and visually pleasing example. Currently one of only 14 examples graded in the PMG Population Report.
