Description
Algeria-France Tresor Central 1000 Francs 1942 (ND 1945) Pick 112a PMG About Uncirculated 50.A rare and sought-after World War II issue, these notes were hastily prepared and issued in Corsica due to an apparent lack of currency. Overprinted on a banknote originally destined for Algeria, this type is quite pretty and seldom seen, especially in high grade. At the time of cataloging, PMG has graded two examples at this grade with only one finer.
