Afghanistan Bank of Afghanistan 500 Afghanis ND (1939) / SH1318 Pick 27 PMG Extremely Fine 40.Second highest denomination of the 1939 series. This and the 20 Afghanis are known as the keys to the series, as they are rarely encountered today. This outstanding example has bold colors and terrific paper quality. The bottom margin is slightly frayed at the right corner, which is mentioned for accuracy, but it does not detract from the overall outstanding eye appeal of this offering.
