State of Mississippi - $2000 BondA 1838 dated bond from the State of Mississippi in black on white with a vignette of a heavily laden sidewheeler nearly overflowing with bales of cotton. There are also two eagle vignettes and allegorical figures at top. A number of coupons remain attached at bottom. Uncancelled. Very Fine.
