Original Fr. 2308 with Ideal Color
Fr. 2308 $10 1934 Mule North Africa Silver Certificate. PMG
Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.This lot contains serial number B07560551A, which is only three serials away from the PMG 65 EPQ Fr. 2308 in this auction session. The $10 in this lot has the appearance of being promptly saved from circulation as it exhibits ideal color and paper originality. This example possesses micro face plate number 123 and macro back plate number 619. Our best previous result for comparison purposes was in May 2024 when we auctioned a PMG 63 EPQ example for $8,700. Tonight's offering, being a grade point higher, should bring more, and we expect that the five figure barrier will be at least tested if not broken.
