Description
Beautiful and Rare Top Pop Hawaii $20 1934A Mule
Fr. 2305 $20 1934A Mule Hawaii Federal Reserve Note. PMG Superb
Gem Unc 67 EPQ.Micro back plate number 310 makes this $20 Hawaii a rare mule. Friedberg 2305 mules are many times rarer than their non-mule counterparts. PMG has graded only 21 mules as compared to 1,038 non-mules for Fr. 2305. In fact the note in this lot is the top pop specimen as PMG has graded not a single mule example either equal or higher. It has been well preserved ever since it reached the banking channels of Hawaii during World War II. The large "Hawaii" printed on the back has produced embossing on the face, while the upper right serial number exhibits embossing on the back. It is also well centered and as a plate letter D note with wide margins from a twelve-subject sheet, a paper guide line marker remains at upper right. A beautiful and rare note that will take a strong bid to add it to the next collection that it enters.
