Plate 87. PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ.This offering is a great rarity for the small size specialist. Late finished face plate 87 examples are many times rarer than LFFP 86 notes for Fr. 1702 according to the population reports. While PMG has graded ten non-Mule examples with face plate 87, this is the only Mule example to appear in their census, and the only Mule to have ever graced one of our auctions. Featuring face plate 87 and Mule back plate number 553, this bright and original piece should certainly be of great interest to the many devotees of this genre.
