Rare $1 Silver 1928D Star
Fr. 1604* $1 1928D Silver Certificate. Fine.This is a truly rare star in any grade, with the number of offerings of this key piece nearly on par with the far more celebrated and much more expensive 1928E Silver star. We have had only eight 1928D $1 star Silvers to offer in our auctions during the past eight years as compared to six 1928E stars and eight 1928C stars. This is a nice evenly circulated piece with no problems and an estimated surviving population of around only a dozen notes.
