Very Rare 1928C $1 Star Silver
Fr. 1603* $1 1928C Silver Certificate. About Fine.One of the key star note rarities in any condition, with a population in all grades combined of under ten pieces. This example, from the Fred Thomson collection, is an evenly circulated note which appears fully Fine from the face. The reverse displays a bit of light soiling that prevents us from assigning this otherwise problem free star any higher grade. It's virtually identical to the Steele collection example we sold in January of 2003 and should realize just about the same figure.
