Fr. 1507 $2 1928F Legal Tender Notes. Uncut Sheet of Twelve. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.Uncut sheets of twelve such as the one being offered here were once available at the Cash Division of the Main Treasury Building in Washington, D.C., for face value. Individuals would presumably sign a ledger to record how many sheets and of what denomination and serial numbers they had purchased. Sheets which were not sold after a reasonable amount of time were simply cut apart into single notes and released into circulation. Our current offering has achieved a lofty Gem grade for completely original paper surfaces and pleasing ink colors.
