Fr. 2408 $1,000 1928 Gold Certificate. PCGS Choice About New
58.A plate letter D note with paper guide line markers at top center and upper right. During this era of our nation's paper money, these particular types of paper guide line markers are found on twelve-subject sheets between the C and D notes and also between the adjacent I and J notes. Natural paper wave is observed on the back of serial number A00019966A in this lot that is new to Track & Price. There are very few 58s for this Friedberg number listed in T&P. However, we auctioned a PMG 53 Fr. 2408 with a pinhole for $34,800 in September 2023. Therefore, this higher graded example in a comment free holder should bring more.
