Fr. 2404 $50 1928 Gold Certificate. PCGS Banknote Gem Unc 65
PPQ.A lovely, well margined $50 Gold Certificate with an exceptionally vivid gold overprint, this note features great originality - evident even within its PCGS Banknote holder. New to the census, this pretty note has at least equal the eye appeal of the PCGS Gem 65 PPQ example that we auctioned for $6,600 in our Central States event last year. A small as-made paper flaw in the top margin on the back has been noted by PCGS Banknote.
