Low Serial E00000011A Fr. 1950-E $5 1928 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.Our consignor acquired this Richmond serial number 11 note out of our January 2000 auction held in Orlando. It was lot 1276 and consigned by a southern banker. Serial number and treasury seal embossing is strong on this example that was carefully put away almost a century ago. Add dark inks and white paper to the equation, plus being fully margined, and you have a winner in every respect. Twenty-five years later, one can look forward to spirited bidding in order to bring this charming $5 FRN home.
