Original Superb Gem CGA "67" $10,000
Fr. 2231-J $10,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note. CGA Gem Uncirculated 67.This spectacular note is the finest $10,000, certified or not, from any source other than the Binion's Hoard notes. It is certified by CGA as a "67," and has all the attributes that one would expect from that grade--perfect centering, ideal colors, and excellent eye appeal. We saw this note before it was encapsulated, and can attest to its originality. In fact, the embossing is bold enough to be seen through its third-party holder. It is number 562 of only 1,200 examples originally printed, the smallest print run (tied with Richmond and Dallas) of any district for this series. It is a truly magnificent $10,000, and is worth whatever it takes to take it home. Any collector who is serious about owning the very best available will find this note a must-have item, and we expect substantial bidding interest to culminate in a hammer price solidly within or exceeding the range of. . .
