Description
St. Louis 1934 $10,000 One of Six Documented
Fr. 2231-H $10,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Extremely Fine
40.Serial number H00000125A is the second highest of three Fr. 2231-H notes graded by PMG. It is a new serial number for both Track & Price and the Stephen M. Sullivan Census found in Small Sized High Denomination Notes, with the third edition of the latter scheduled to be published in June 2025. Those two censuses will be bumped up to four and six respectively with all four of the T&P listed notes included in the Sullivan reference. The St. Louis example in this lot has had a professional minor corner restoration at upper right that is visible only when the note is backlit. The restored corner measures approximately 3 mm by 4 mm and is confined to the margins. Overall, this is now a nicely centered note with full margins plus white paper and dark inks.
