Description

Benny Binion 1934 $10,000

Fr. 2231-B $10,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
Las Vegas is the center of America's attraction to money and glitz. The city's meteoric rise was centered around the gambling industry. Among the earliest of those to contribute to the expansion of Las Vegas was Benny Binion. Originally from Texas, he moved to Vegas and opened Binion's Horseshoe Casino in 1951. Benny's love of money and gaming led him to display $1,000,000 in paper money in the most impressive way possible, with 100 $10,000 Federal Reserve Notes framed beneath an oversized horseshoe.

This $10,000 is consecutive to other notes that were famously displayed in a large horseshoe frame as you entered the Binion Horseshoe Casino. The paper is bright and attractive, with sizeable margins and decent centering. PMG has awarded the note a 64 grade, along with a mention of minor repairs, which were very expertly executed.
