Fr. 2221-K $5,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Choice About New 58PPQ.This lovely Dallas $5000 is new to the census, but falls right into the range of a few previously recorded high end specimens, including the adjacent serial number example K00000062A, which we sold in a PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 holder last year for $129,250. While there is a bit more handling on this piece, there appears to be little reason this specimen did not merit the Uncirculated grade as well, as the piece is utterly original and unmolested, with bright colors and more than ample eye appeal.
