Lovely Fr. 2212-E $1,000 PMG 63 EPQ
Fr. 2212-E $1,000 1934A Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice
Uncirculated 63 EPQ.A fully original and well embossed example is observed in this lot. It is a nicely preserved Richmond $1,000 and is rarely found in Uncirculated grades. The PMG Population Report tells us that they have graded only two equal and just six higher. The centering of our lovely current offering prevents this piece from being called a Gem. It remains an impressive example for the grade. The last three Fr. 2212-E notes that we auctioned in this precise PMG grade brought prices realized in the $4,560 to $6,600 range from April 2020 to October 2021. As time went by, each result was higher than our previous offering. One can look for this trend to continue.
