Description

Fr. 2212-D $1,000 1934A Federal Reserve Note. PMG About Uncirculated 53.
Who doesn't love Cleveland's portrait on a Cleveland note? The paper remains bright on this piece that likely kept as vault cash for a number of years as hinted by the tell-tale spot of circulation in the upper right corner. The strong center fold through Cleveland's portrait would suggest that it did not directly transition from vault cash to cherished collectible, but the overall condition remains quite pleasing. The margins on the face are nearly even, but are decidedly not on the back. PMG mentions an erasure on this example.
