Fr. 2210-K $1,000 1928 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Gem
Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A beautiful, high-grade Dallas $1,000 FRN from the much scarcer 1928 Series that we first offered in our 2002 Central States auction. Publicly offered for the first time in almost twenty years, this well margined note is tied with just one other piece for the finest graded by PMG. In fact, no finer example has been graded by either of the major services. This exceptional note features a deep pine-green overprint and fully original paper surfaces. Last year, we auctioned the other PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ note for $25,200. This lovely high denomination note from the popular Dallas district should do at least as well.
