Uncirculated 64 EPQ.Anytime we offer a 1928 Series $1,000 in an Uncirculated grade, it is indeed a real treat. The lovely example presented in this lot is no exception, as it has earned a desirable Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ grade from PMG. According to the PMG Population Report, they have only awarded this grade to 9 other examples. During our 2024 Long Beach Signature Auction, we offered an equivalently graded PMG example which brought over $13,000 once the dust settled. Expect to see that price matched or exceeded when the gavel falls for this simply stunning 1928 $1,000.
