Description
Tied for PMG Highest Graded
Fr. 2202-E $500 1934A Federal Reserve Note. PMG Gem Uncirculated
65 EPQ.A simply remarkable Richmond $500 that boasts the title of being tied with one other as the highest graded example for this Friedberg by PMG. Certainly a tougher district for high denominations, this 65 EPQ graded example is one of 275 that PMG has handled. However, it sits at the top of the throne with another, and this marks only the second time we have offered a PMG 65 EPQ Fr. 2202-E. The only other time came when we offered this same exact note in October 2021, when this beauty brought in $8,400. The high denomination market has only heated up since then, so expect to see that price shattered when the gavel falls for this note.
