Gem New Saint Louis 1928 $500
Fr. 2200-H $500 1928 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Gem Uncirculated
65 EPQ.Both serial numbers and the Treasury seal exhibit bold embossing with each edge tooth plus many of the individual stars of the latter being conspicuous. One can add natural paper wave, dark inks, and white paper to the equation in order to arrive at the fact that this is a well preserved St. Louis $500. The last example of a Fr. 2200-H that we auctioned closed at $6,600 in September 2020.
